U4. T2.- Advantages and disadvantages of the cloud

Advantages
The main advantage of the Cloud storage system is that allows us not only to store our data but also to use anything other people uploaded from thousands of kilometers away from us. Any kind of file can be stored, as an example, people usually use this service in order to watch tv shows, films or to listen to music. However, from my experience, I could say that the feature that helped me the most is the uploading of backups of the most important documents I had. 

Disadvantages  

This technology implies a lack of control of the data stored as servers are located far away from the customer. As a consequence, companies are only subjected to the laws of the corresponding country which could not be favorable to customer interests.

Another risk we should take into account relates to the fact that many of these services are completely free which implies questionable reliability.
